There is an epidemic running through our house. It involves many upset stomachs and a few broken limbs.
The waiting room is a never ending stream of symptomatic fuzzy beings.
The primary children's ward quickly filled up.
We had to open another unit.
Clad in white, the doctors and nurses are short staffed but doing their very best.
Some patients are feeling worse than others.
But don't worry. We are going to take care of you.
Sure hope those patients recover soon. They certainly have excellent doctors. Really sweet post.

Oh, those doctors are miracle workers! All patients have recovered and were discharged in time for dinner. Doctor B has returned to medical school for some advanced coursework with Nurse E needed a long vacation in la-la land (she slept until 9 this morning!)

Wonderful photos. Wonderful play. I have to say the first photo freaked me out for a minute until I realized that that limb didn't look quite real!

Didn't mean to freak anyone out. I had hoped the plasticy-ness would assauge any fears that this was a medical condition, especially given the reality.
I love how they incorporate this new element of our lives in their play. The "game" literally went on for two days. It was incredible.

That is amazing! Bless those lovely and caring daughters of yours.
Have you guys seen Totoro? It might be a bit intense for the girls (mama is in the hospital and things are chaotic). But if they've seen it before perhaps comforting? (happy ending).

This is beautiful! I love how they are using play to work out some of their feelings about Mom being in the hospital. The photos of the children's ward and the "annex" are so great - they really capture the feeling of the whole event. And last but not least, the carefully written note!!! Oh. Those are smart, smart girls (they take after their parents, obviously).
