It's Show and Tell time!! Christmas may be over and we may be on our way back home today (where the only evidence of Christmas will be the stack of holiday books), but I am hoping to let it linger on in blogland by sharing with you some of Santa's surprises. This year I really wanted the girls to have some quality musical instruments. I have visions of a home with instruments laying about in every room for someone to pick up and play at will. Papi Chulo has an excellent ear and a love for music. Funky B loves to dance. And Miss E wants to hear music whenever she can.
Santa heard my wish and brought the girls a wooden drumset, a yellow ukelele, slide whistles, recorders, bells, and a finger drum. As you can see, they have taken to the uke:
Sadly, Santa forgot to pack any magical musical instrument to give this tone deaf mama the ability to sing. Hopefully the girls will learn to strum louder than my version of "Old MacDonald".
